Here are a few photographs of our cat Thud, who would lose an IQ race to a sedimentary rock.
Thud on the Red Chair, as it's known. All of the cats have a particular fondness for this chair, but it's rare to have more than one occupying it at the same time. The bizarre object in the opposite corner of the seat is the Intruding Bat that Smidgen loves to hate.
One thing that drives Thud bananas is mint. Humans eating peppermints need to barricade themselves behind locked doors to keep Thud from trying to climb into their mouths, and invalids recuperating with the help of Vicks Vapo-Rub or Ben-Gay are a lost cause unless kept in isolation. As you can see here, though, no mint is in evidence (no, it was not a gengineered banana!) -- Thud's just confused, as usual.
This is anomalous behaviour. She just climbed aboard and crashed for a while with no warning.
Maybe Thud has a shot at a cameo on 'Funniest Home Videos,' because she does not in the least mind being hoovered. Sometimes she will turn over so I can get the other side. And yes, the hoover is switched on in this photograph! I did not stage it by putting an idle wand on Thud!
