Photographs taken in the Raleigh Rose Garden in June, 2003. There are some near-duplicates of some subjects because I couldn't decide which I preferred. The canes at the corner of the building were simply amazing; I've never seen so many differently coloured roses on a single plant. I also managed to catch a honey bee visiting a terrifically beautiful rose. This is remarkable because I think it's the first honey bee I've seen since they were decimated by the parasite. And that's a matter of years! And if there's one bee, there's a swarm. So good-oh, bees! Again, bear in mind that I am not a professional photographer. |
All of these pictures were taken by myself, using a Nikon CoolPix 4500.
